Black Kettle, Penang

by - March 09, 2017

This is a super long overdue post, but better late than never right? Haha. Anyway, this was the morning before I had to fly back to KL. We initially wanted to try another cafe nearby for brunch but it was close when we got there. As we didn't know where else we should go, we drove around the area and eventually found Black Kettle, which was a really good choice! Nice ambience, good food and it's wheelchair friendly! My grandma was with us for brunch, hence, it was crucial for us to find a place where she could be pushed all the way to the table.

Upon entering the cafe, we were greeted with the pastry section before reaching our table.

A wide range of pastries to choose from and everything looks fresh!

More bread and buns being sold on these shelves which I initially thought were just decorative items.

I find it rather adorable how this shot includes an elderly lady smiling while looking at my direction.

Moving on to the most important part of this entry, THE FOOD!

Mr Benedict (RM22)

Samurai Chicken (RM26)

Smoked Duck Carbonara (RM28)

Big Breakfast (RM22)

Beef Bacon Chili Pancake (RM15)

I didn't try all of the dishes that we ordered, but everyone agreed it was really delicious! Worth the price that we paid, and definitely a place that we would come back in the future.

This was taken outside of Black Kettle and dad was wondering why am I taking a picture with 2 old aircond condenser. Haha.
